Custom sporting rifle built on a fully engraved Mauser 98 action with a tang safety and an engraved spoon bolt handle, 24" octagon to round barrel with a full length integral top rib dovetailed for a standing bar rear sight and integral ramped front sight with a silver bead. German style claw mount holding a Swarovski Optik HABICHT 8X56 NOVA. Custom bottom metal with double set triggers, engraved trigger guard reading “MAHRHOLDT TYROL" and a deep relief engraved floor plate with a lever release depicting a full body stag. Custom Mannlicher full length stock with a 2 piece forend, pistol grip cap and brown Decelerator recoil pad. The cheek piece is shaped in a traditional Germanic style and blended into a deep relief wood carving of traditional oak leaves. Overall in very good condition with minimal wear to the metal and only light handling marks on the wood.
