Al Biesen & Roger Biesen custom Winchester pre-64 Model 70 7x57. With the trim "mountain rifle" stock signed by Al and the metal marked by Roger, serial 307156 has a 22-inch barrel with a "Featherweight" contour. Features include a rust blue finish, jeweled bolt body/extractor/follower, recontoured and checkered bolt release button and contoured steel bottom metal. The AA-grade English walnut stock has a tinge of honey and is formalized with an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering accented with fleurs, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, checkered steel grip cap, sling swivel studs and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The action is bedded at the lug and the trigger crisped. DIMENSIONS: Weight (including Leupold dual dovetail mounts, 1-inch low rings) is 7.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.25 inches. CONDITION: The bore is bright and shiny. Metal finish is at least 95 percent with trace tarnish in the jeweling. Wood is also at least 95 percent. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,500 plus shipping.
