#272308, John Bolliger, Mountain Riflery, Inc. 416 Rigby, A Full & Total Custom Signature Series Model on a Pre-64 Model 70 Action that was completely altered to handle the 416 Rigby case size length & case head size, 24" barrel with a fixed Magna-Port muzzle brake, A good size recoil lug mid-way up the forend, 1/4 rib that extends over the barrel cylinder to the receiver breech, Very nicely matted on top, 1 standing & 2 folding rear sights, Barrel band sling eye, Band front ramp that is matted as well, Nice profiled scope bases with a frontal shoulder to take up the recoil, Blackburn type straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Five panel teardrop bolt knob checkering that is very well done, Jeweled bolt and follower, Built-up and checkered bolt stop release, Model 70 3-position safety, A custom trigger, A pure Bolliger Custom Classic stock using a very nice piece of English Walnut, Shadow line cheekpiece; Complete & total deluxe wrap around checkering pattern with multiple carved bands thru both of the checkering panels, Ebony forend tip, Double screw tiedown rear sling eye, Trap door grip cap with nice engraving, Complete glass bedding the entire length of the inletting, 14 1/8" length of pull over a 1" Decelerator pad, 10 lbs. as it is, The original blue remains at 99%, The original stock finish at 99%, The complete wrap around checkering is at 100%, The bore is new. This rifle has total appearance it never went hunting. John Bolliger at Mountain Riflery has got it figured out as you need to give it a hard inspection to find any flaws here. Their attention to detail is complete from the crown of the muzzle to the very back of the recoil pad.
