Bolliger / Mountain Riflery Signature Series .280 Remington. Based on a Winchester pre-64 Model 70 action, serial 86388 is fitted with a custom 22-inch barrel (recessed crown, .540-inch muzzle diameter, hooded ramp front sight assembly with brass beaded blade,flip-up moon bead and stippled face). An aperture sight which attaches to the rear base is secured in the trap. Features include a rust blued finish, jeweled bolt body and follower, custom bolt (five-panel checkered knob), three-position safety, reshaped and checkered bolt release button and Blackburn bottom metal. STOCK: Drawn from a AAA-grade English blank with substantial dark figure and hints of crossing grain, enhancements include an ebony forend tip with widow's peak, wrapping fields of fine checkering accented by ribbons and fleurs, palm swell, bordered release button, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, skeleton grip cap, checkered steel trap door butt plate, pedestalled integral sling swivel studs, timed screws and a satin finish. OPTIC: A Swarovski Habicht 2.5-10x42 (30mm) is secured in Bolliger quick detaching mounts. The optic is in new condition. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 8.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.7 inches. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Metal and wood finishes are each approximately 99 percent.
