Full custom 9.3x62 Mauser by Dave Caboth, Alta, Iowa featuring a 21" J.P. Sauer Krupp Steel barrel that is half round/ half octagon with full length integral rib with a quarter rib type contour and integral front ramp. Rebored to 9.3 by Cliff LaBounty. One standing and one folding leaf express rear sight. Mauser large ring small shank action with the front reciever ring recontoured to small ring configuration leaving a square bridge machined for Talley rings. Tig welded rear square bridge. Action re-heat treated. Topped with a Zeiss Diatal-C 4X scope with duplex reticle. Beuhler type safety. Blackburn trigger. Pear shaped bolt knob. Floorplate with trigger bow release. Stocked in a very nice piece of English Walnut with good color and contrast in the English style. Inletting is flawless. Shadow line pancake cheekpiece. Steel grip cap. Ebony forend tip. Point pattern checkering with mullered border that wraps the forend by Jessse Kauffman, Black Hills Gunstocks & Engraving. 14 " LOP over a Decelerator pad. 7lb 13oz as scoped.
