REDUCED 07/23 The result of a long term project completed last year, this is an absolutely georgeous custom Krag Sporting or Stalking Rifle in .30-40 Krag caliber. Three master gunmakers collaborated on the design and manufacture of this rifle - KENNETH LUNDQUIST of Atlanta Ga did the original swing out magazine conversion and barrel contour, ROBERT J SNAPP of Clare MI finalized the receiver to model 70 contour, and RICHARD SMITH of Oxford, Fl stocked the rifle. The magazine was converted to a narrowed Swing Out type, the magazine cutoff was removed, and the rear of the receiver was given a Model 70 configuration. A Neidner checkered buttplate and steel gripcap complement the wonderful English Walnut Richard chose for the stock. Custom open sights include a banded front ramp with articulating front sight hood. If you have a deep regard for the Krags as I do you will not believe this rifle.
