Wonderful .22 LR Sporting rifle built on a 1922 MK II Action. Was actually built from a full MK II. Features a nicely proportioned Walnut stock, which was made from the original 1922 Walnut MK II stock. Stock features what I would call Spade checkering, a pistol grip cap, and a very trim schnabel forend. Rifle has a 24" barrel, and it features a MK I Bolt and magazine. Bolt is checkered with two panels, and features a headless cocking piece. Super grade Model 70 style sling swivels. Lyman 48 Rear sight, and hooded globe front with a bead. Rifle is a perfect companion to a 1903 sporting rifle. 1922 Springfields are incredibly accurate, and this is a beautiful sporter that handles like a full sized centerfire rifle.
