 A very nice Ruger that has been restocked in upgraded wood with lots of nice features. This rifle has a perfect bore and factory scope rings. The forearm has an Al Bieson escutheon and eliminates that big hole the Rugers typically have under their forearm. The buttplate is fully checkered and with a trap door. The wood speaks for itself...just look at the pictures. My impression is that this classic single shot was properly upgraded into an even more classic rifle but then never made it out of the gun safe. It's ready as is for this coming season and it will bring lots of venison, and complimentrs too. Remember, "Life is too short... to hunt with and ugly gun".
