Description:
24" tapered round Krieger barrel with integrally-machined "full-band" ramped gold bead front sight, integrally-machined "full-band" sling swivel mount, integral recoil lug and integral matted quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding gold-lined express sights engraved for 100 & 250 yards respectively.

Boldly-streaked straight-grained European walnut stock with ebony forend tip, fine classic borderless point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under the forend, a panel of finer checkering atop the wrist with fine ribbon borderlines, twin engraved recoil crossbolts, steel capped pistol grip, beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted rear swivel stud, and solid black Decelerator recoil pad.

Mauser Oberndorf Magnum Double-squarebridge, solid-sidewall action with matching numbers, six-panel checkered bolt knob, Model 70-type safety, Original Mauser trigger converted to single-stage, and bottom metal with hinged straddle floorplate and release inside triggerguard.

Zeiss Diatal-Z 4x32 T* rail-mount scope with fine crosshair reticle on quick-detachable claw mounts.

Extensively engraved by Thierry Duguet, the receiver and grip cap with acanthus scroll; the bottom metal with a staring cape buffalo and attendant picket birds surrounded with acanthus scroll.

Pull: 14 3/4". Weight: 10lbs, 1oz without scope; 10lbs, 14 1/2oz with. Mauser action built ca 1935. Rifle built 1990. Retaining 99%+blue and with an excellent bore.
