SOLD - #4737, Dave Norin - Gunmaker: A Complete Dave Norin Custom .275 Rigby (7 x57 Mauser) on a VZ24 Mauser Action Made in 2011 with a 22" barrel, Island rear sight from NECG that is fully adjustable, Barrel band sling eye, Band front ramp with a locked sight protector, Profiled Leupold type scope bases, Leupold 3 x 9 with a fine reticle, Model 70 type 3-position wing safety, Blackburn adjustable trigger, Blackburn magazine box with a straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Full custom bolt handle with 2 panel teardrop checkering, Built up & checkered bolt stop release, Jeweled bolt body, Case color hardened bolt sleeve, The action is completely detailed with excellent polish & finish inside & out, A true Dave Norin classic stock using a nice piece of walnut with nice contrast, Shadowline cheekpiece, Full wrap around point pattern checkering with a carved border, 2 screw tiedown rear sling eye, 2 screw steel grip cap, Ebony forend tip, Very nice carved borders at the bolt handle and receiver rail sides; I have had my fair share of custom bolt rifles apart and the internal inletting is beyond reproach, It is almost as good as I have ever seen, This is a great compliment to Mr. Norin as 99% of custom rifle buyers never know what is on the inside, He cares because he is an artisan and knows what is right as his name is on the rifle, 8 lbs. 13 oz., 13 5/8" LOP over a Biesen trapdoor buttplate with the allen wrench for the guard screws enclosed, Overall the piece remains in 99% condition since it left the very capable hands of Mr. Norin, The bore is new.
