Custom scope bases with included 1" Talley rings.It features a built up and checkered bolt release, a two position wing safety and a checkered tear drop bolt handle. The bottom metal features a straddle hinged floorplate with center bow release. Metal surfaces have been polished and rust blued. The action was professionally lightened too.
The stock has excellent figure and show s fiddle-back throughout. The ebony fore end has a widows peak. The cheek piecehas its shodow line, and the two screw sling bases are mounted on raised islands. The wrap around checkering is excellent and the grip cap is a Jerry Fisher. This trim rifle weighs 7 lbs on my scale. (The rifle is the lower mauser in the first photo, whihc shows the shadow cheek piece and wood very nicely.)
