George Beitzinger .375 Holland & Holland
Description:
George Beitzinger (formerly of Griffin & Howe) built .375 Holland & Holland built on a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70. The action features a reshaped tang, checkered bolt handle, bolt and extractor jewelling, custom drop box bottom metal. It's fitted with a Lyman peep sight and Griffin and Howe side mount. The Lyman peep is inletted perfectly in the butt stock under the trap door buttplate. A spare aperture is fit in the trap door grip cap.
Stunning piece of English walnut shaped in Beitzinger's signature style. The wrap-around point checkering pattern is exectued flawlessly. Perfect wood-to-metal fit.
Rifle's in near-perfect condition other than a small scratch on the trigger guard and faint rub marks on the left side of the stock in front of the grip (see photos).
