GORGEOUS CUSTOM WINCHESTER LOWALL OFFHAND/SCHEUTZEN RIFLE, .22LR WITH UNERTL 10X SCOPE. The action on this rifle has been beautifully bone charcoal case colored and fitted to a pistol grip stock. The patent markings are sharp on the lower tang as is the serial number with the first digit very weak, #101XXX which was manufactured in 1905. Aside from this, it is unmarked, but certainly  professionally built. It is also fitted with close-coupled double set triggers with adjustment screw intact. The lever has been professionally altered for a better offhand grip. The 26” browned half octagon has a fancy decorative knurled ring separating the octagon portion from the round portion- a classy addition. The stock and forearm appear to be a high grade piece of nicely grained English walnut with elaborate fleur-de-lis checkering on both the pistol grip and forearm. The pistol grip bottom has a graceful schnable, and the forend tip is ebony. It is also fitted with a modest Swiss butt plate. The 10X Unertl scope has a fine crosshair reticle with Objective/Parallax Focus and fine optics. Weighs a little under ten pounds. Exc. bright bore. A really classy rifle for field or target range.
