Custom bolt rifle chambered for the .460 Weatherby Magnum cartridge by JJ Perodeau. It has a blued, round 24” barrel fitted with a barrel band eye for sling, stippled matte quarter rib which an unmarked and lined express rear sight is dovetailed into. The express consists of 1 standing and 2 folding leaves. Barrel band matte ramped and knurled hooded bead tipped blade front sight. The top of the barrel is engraved in script: "JJ Perodeau Gunmaker Enid OK" between rear express sight and the barrel banded eye for sling. The Mauser-style Granite Mountain Arms dovetailed double-square bridge control round feed action is fitted with a Winchester style 3-position wing safety, straddle floor plate, smooth single trigger protected by the right side rolled trigger guard incorporating the floor plate release, Talley rings, and Nightforce NX8 1-8x24 F1 scope. The receiver, magazine floor plate, cap box, barrel, both sight bases, bolt handle, and knob are finished with high polished blue. Left side front of the receiver is engraved in script with the rifle's serial number, while the left side of the receiver is marked GRANITE MT ARMS PRESCOTT AZ" Nicely figured deluxe quality reddish-brown walnut stock with beaded (shadow line) pancake cheek piece, pistol grip, ebony forearm tip, point pattern wrap-around checkering with borders, two reinforcing crossbolts, pistol grip cap box, inletted eye for sling on toe line and a 14-1/2 LOP over a 7/8" leather covered recoil pad. 12 Lbs. - 5 Oz. with scope and rings and 10 Lbs. - 15 Oz without scope and rings.
