Karl Bittdorf break action single shot rifle

Description:
Very handsome single shot  "kipplauf buchse" rifle in 7x65R and 22 Hornet built by Karl Bittdorf. Both barrels are 25.5" long and have NECG claw mount rings, and the 22 hornet barrel features a modern Swarovski Z-6i optic with an illuminated reticle. The 7x65R barrel has a modern Leupold Scope VX-6HD with the locking turrets and the Fire dot Duplex. Both scopes are very nice and in excllent condition.

The bores on both these barrels are excellent and have no issues. The Hornet barrel was at some point relined from the 8.15x46R, and it shoots very well with factory Hornet ammo. The 7x57R marked barrel was properly and professionally rechambered into the 7x65R. It too shoots very well and it loves the 140 gr Nosler bullets. When I got the rifle years ago I expected it to be a 7x57R as marked. I have had the caliber markings on the bottom of the octagon barrel flats updated on the 7x65R. 

Single set trigger works perfectly. Engraving is spectacular and the wood is gorgeous and without issue. LOP is 14"  Photos are accurate. Let me know if you have any questions.
