Mauser Custom .375 H&H
Description:
Full custom Mauser .375 Holland & Holland built on a factory Mauser true magnum length Single Square Bridge action with a stepped front receiver ring and slanted drop box magazine. This was most likely built by Rigby into a 400/350 with the Rigby number on the trigger guard and now utilized on this fine custom. Barrel is 23 1/2" with banded ramp front sight, banded sling stud, and quarter rib with one standing leaf with gold center line. Bore is excellent. Receiver features two position side swing safety, Canjar fully adjustable trigger, jeweled bolt, and custom bolt handle with two teardrop checkered panels on the knob. Topped with a Schmidt & Bender 1.5x6 scope in 30mm Leupold rings. Scope with four heavy posts and finer crosshairs. Stocked in the American Classic style using a well laid out piece of English Walnut with nicely contrasting dark mineral streaks. Shadow line cheekpiece and 26 LPI point pattern checkering that is up and over the grip and wraps the forend. LOP is 13 7/8 inches over a Decelerator pad and 1/4" spacer. Weighs in at 10lb 14 oz as scoped. This piece shows some use but in overall good condition. It is Africa proven and ready to return. The talented maker is unknown but not his first rodeo.
