Serengeti Walkabout .260 Remington.
Serengeti Walkabout rifles (predecessor to the Kilimanjaro rifles) were a small-production/custom sporting rifle line. Elegent, lightweight carbines using Mauser-style actions. Designed as traditional hunting rifles with influences from European Mannlicher carbines. They appear to have emphasized walnut stocks, controlled-feed actions, slim handling, and practical hunting chamberings. This rifle features an acra-glass laminated Mannlicher style full-length walnut stock with a Schnabel forend, Fleur De Lis checkering with ribbons, front and rear inletted sling swivels, a hinged floor plate, a 1" Decelarator recoil pad, q 22" sporter barrel with an island rear sight and hooded ramp front sight, 3-position safety, and a control-round-feed action, matte blued metal finish.
Fitted with Talley bases and 1" QD talley rings.
Topped off with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 Scope.
Excellent condition as new.
