#5294, Steve Nelson Gunmaker - Nelson's Custom Guns, Inc.: A Complete Steve Nelson Custom 30-06 on a FN Mauser Action, Made in 1990, 24" barrel, No open sights, Barrel band sling eye, Warne scope bases, Detachable rings but not quick detachable, Burris 1 1/2 - 6 scope, Bolt sleeve safety on the left side of the scope, Nice trigger, Blackburn straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release; Full custom bolt handle with 3 panel checkering, Checkered bolt stop release, Jeweled bolt body, Heat blued extractor body; The action is detailed with excellent polish & finish inside & out, All metal rust blued, A true Nelson classic stock using a very nice piece of English walnut with nice color & contrast, Shadowline cheekpiece, Full wrap around point pattern checkering with a mullered border, Steel grip cap, Ebony forend tip, 8 lbs. 9 oz., 14" LOP over a 1" pad, The original rust blue overall remains at 99%, The original stock finish is at 96%, The checkering remains at 100%, The bore is excellent plus. The piece will shoot 1" 3 shot groups at 100 yards.
