This Custom .375 H&H Enfield by W.A. Sukalle Gunmaker, stocked by Tom Shelhamer, and Engraved by Mcteer & Agee Remains In Excellent Condition. It was made for Doctor Russell C Smith Who commisioned a large number of exquisite custom rifles during the 40s and 50s. W. A. Sukalle was a well regarded Barrel amker and metalsmith during the 50s , he barreled many rifle for Such Noted writters as Jack Oconnor, And Elmer Keith. Tom Shelghamer is held to be the preminate American stock maker during this time period, with all of his work very well regarded. The stock is stamped with Tom Shelhamer's mark and number 1055.
