Description: Custom Sporting rifle by Jim Bisio, member of the ACGG. Built on the highly regarded “G” series Winchester Model 70 classic action with a 24” Benchmark 1-in-9 contour barrel and chambered for .280 Remington. The action is fitted with a McFarland 2 panel checkered bolt knob, jeweled bolt, clover-leaf tang, checkered bolt stop and Blackburn bottom metal. The gorgeous Exhibition English Walnut has a shadow line cheek piece, inletted sling swivels, perfectly fitted ebony tip and perfectly executed finely cut checkering. LOP is 13 5/8” over the 1” pad. Weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz. From muzzle to the end of the recoil pad this is a very fine custom rifle. Great wood to metal, great finishes with the rust bluing by Bruce Furman and stock work and finishing by Bisio.
