Here is an early 2000's vz58, these rifles were imported from the czech republic and then assembled by Dan Brown of Czechpoint rifles in Tennessee, the rifles were fitted with a manufactured magazine block that holds the magazine in place as a FIXED magazine per Ca. law No alterations to the rifle itself, the original magazine catch is included and I will put it on, if the buyer is outside of Calif. Also included are 9 or so original Czech magazines.
The rifle has gloss finish that is a type of cerecote, but no sure, maybe just a baked on black enamel finish The receiver says sporter 7.62 x 39 The other stamping says D technik A.S., Czech Republic, Waffen Works, Knoxville Tennessee. These are the best of the VZ58 rifles.
Has original Czech wood furniture. The rifle is milled steel and it is very accurate.
