Description:
Serial #A001253, .22 V/L caseless air-ignited cartridge, 18 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This #1253 of the first production run of the short lived V/L rifle manufactured 1968-1969. The innovative caseless air-ignited cartridge generated 1150 FPS and was discontinued after BATF ruled the gun to be a modern firearm. The collectors kit was special ordered from the very first production run with the collectors name plate in brass on the stock along with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by Cass S. Hough, President of Daisy/Heddon, custom gun case, 6 x 9 inch booklet on V/L and its place in gun history and brass hanging cradles with 4 original boxes of ammunition (total of 400 rounds). The gun is new in the original package and does not appear to have been used with only a few, tiny handling blemishes. The ammunition will ship separately from the gun and that price is reflected in the shipping cost. A neat piece of firearm history. FFL or C&R
