Dakota Arms Little Sharps .38-55 With Scope
Description: Manufactured c. 21st century in Sturgis South Dakota, featuring a dovetailed globe front sight and absent rear sight, case hardened scope mount bases screwed on the top of the barrel flat with the .38-55 caliber designation on the left side of the camber, the Dakota markings on the left side of the case hardened receiver and serial number on the bottom yang. Fitted with a smooth English walnut foreend and straight profile stock with a smooth shotgun buttplate. Topped off with a Montana Vintage Arms (MVA) Series 4000 6x scope on a pair of adjustable mounts. Excellent, condition retaining 98% organal blue finish and case colors with some minor edge ware, some minor muting on the edges, plum coloring on the buttplate, and minor handling evidence. The wood is also excellent with some minor specs of compression and handling wear along with attractive contrasting grain. Mechanically excellent. The scope is exceptionally fine with some limited minor surface oxidation and very fine cross hairs. 26 inch heavy octagon barrel. The bore is shiny and crisp rifling.
