The Hunter rifle series by Daniel Defense was built to meet the demands of the modern outdoorsman with precise accuracy, proven dependability, and use a heavy hitting cartridge. The heart of the rifle is its 18", Cold Hammer Forged barrel and carbine length gas system, shielded by an MFR 15.0 free-floating handguard. Running the full length of the handguard and receiver is a picatinny rail in the 12-o’clock position with more than enough space for optics, sights, scopes, and other accessories. The Hunter itself was designed for the use of a suppressor, with its 5/8x24" threaded muzzle and a “Grip-N-Rip" charging handle that redirects expanding gas upwards and away from the face of the operator. In addition, this rifle come with an advanced, pre-installed Geissele Super-Semiautomatic 2-stage trigger.
