Daniel Defense fixed iron sights are right out of the box, and the rifle uses the fully ambidextrous DD4 lower receiver. The rifle comes standard with Daniel Defense’s own adjustable stock, pistol grip, forearm, foregrip, and flash hider. The stock, pistol grip, and foregrip are made of glass-filled polymer and have soft-touch over-molding. The MFR 15.0 fore end is 15-inches long and has a complete M1913 picatinny rail up top, while the sides and bottom are M-Lok compatible. The flash hider is manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel and has a salt bath nitride finish. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

The DDM4 V7 Desert Sage Limited Series takes the standard DDM4 V7 and adds a few more bells and whistles. First off, the rifle sports the protective Generation II Desert Sage Cerakote finish. Second, the rifle features a crisp Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA) trigger. Daniel Defense fixed iron sights are right out of the box, and the rifle uses the fully ambidextrous DD4 lower receiver. The rifle comes standard with Daniel Defense’s own adjustable stock, pistol grip, forearm, foregrip, and flash hider. The stock, pistol grip, and foregrip are made of glass-filled polymer and have soft-touch over-molding. The MFR 15.0 fore end is 15-inches long and has a complete M1913 picatinny rail up top, while the sides and bottom are M-Lok compatible. The flash hider is manufactured from 17-4 PH stainless steel and has a salt bath nitride finish. The rifle is equipped with an ambidextrous safety as well as the ambidextrous Grip-N-Rip charging handle. The upper and lower are made of 7075-T6 aluminum and have the industry-standard Type III Hard Coat Anodized finish with the Desert Sage Cerakote finish added on top. The DD4 lower is fully ambidextrous with a flared mag well to assist in quick mag changes. There is a custom engraved Limited Series Logo engraved on the mag well. The upper receiver is Mil-Spec with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps. The hammer-forged 16-inch gov’t-profile barrel is chrome-lined with a 1:7-inch twist for stabilizing even the heaviest .223-caliber bullets. It has a Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating and has been HP/MPI tested. The rifle uses a mid-length gas system, with the low-profile gas block being made of 4140 hardened steel and having a Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating for resistance against the elements. This is especially important since the gas block is covered to some extent by the fore end, requiring the user to remove it to fully clean the gas block. This may not always be possible depending on the situation, so the highly resistant coating helps. Daniel Defense rifles are known for their high quality of manufacture and performance. Many 3-gun shooters use Daniel Defense rifles. If you are looking for a top-of-the-line AR-15, the V7 Desert Sage Limited Series is an excellent choice.
