The wood work is similarly topnotch with faultless 24lpi checkering and impossibly tight inletting. Putting aside the cosmetics, this light-for-caliber rifle has a number of expensive features: bolted safety; fold-over night sight; trapdoor grip cap; Rigby forend latch; and disable switch for the ejectors. LOP 14.5" drops 1 7/8" and 2 7/8" with about 1/4" of cast off with a "German" shadow line cheekpiece. 9 3/4lbs with 26" barrels, excellent bores, in a fitted canvas and leather case with accessories including a two-piece bubinga and brass cleaning rod with matching tips, all new or as new.
