A very good condition 12 Bore double rifle by Thomas Richardson of Cork Ireland. Richardson once worked for Rigby and the quality built into this rifle exemplifies his training. This is a fairly plain looking no nonsense rifle with 26in. steel barrels with near excellent bores rifled with Medford style rifling with prominently rounded lands and grooves. The rifle weighs 10 1/2 lbs. with a LOP of 14 1/2in. to a steel butt plate and back action, rebounding hammer locks and a jones under lever. It has pretty nice lumber in the butt stock nicely checkered as is the forend with a sculped horn tip. Lock up is tight and on face no rust at all on breech face or action flats.
