Looking for a nice entry level double rifle for collecting , hunting or competition shooting but don't want to spend a lot of money? This is a plain rifle in that it doesn't have a lot of fine English scroll engraving , fancy grade wood but it is a solid gun with excellent bores and a recent refinish on the butt stock and checkering . The barrels are Damascus twist with a browned finish and has a triple leaf rear sight marked with yardages. The action is a top lever break open design and the action closes tight. The action and locks finish is a browned aged finish having been touched up over the years with probably cold blue . There is a repair of a crack on the top right side of the tang that is restricted to just the top and does not go further in the stock and should not be a problem . This type of damage is usually done from the gun falling over from a standing position and hitting the floor . The straight wrist design stock is perfect for double triggers , fire the front trigger and just slide your hand back for easy access to the rear trigger. Gun comes with a box of unfired brass.
