Holland & Holland. Double rifle. Cal 500 BPE 3 1/4" chambers. 26" BBLS. Manufactured 1884. Back action. Solid rib barrel. Blue and case
hardened finish. Lever over guard. rebounding locks. lever forend. Pistol  grip with cheekpiece. Weight 9 1/4 Lbs. LOP 14 1/2". Blade front sight.
Three rear sights, one standing and two folding. Marked 50-150 200 & 250. Case hardened finish. All matching numbers on lower tang, water
table, barrel flat and forearm. Fine English scroll engraving on the receiver, hammers, lockplates, forearm hardware, barrel release and
trigger guard. Solid recoil pad. Matches original data received on factory letter from Holland & Holland. Barrels retain 30% original blue. Wood is
very good plus with some minor pressure dents and some worn checkering. Has some light corrosion on face around striking holes. Action locks up tight
and on face. This rifle has an excellent bright bore and regulates well with nitro for black loads. Serial # 8045. Sell $9,500.00.
