1940 Thieme & Schlegelmilch Nimrod drilling
Description: 1940 Thieme & Schlegelmilch Nimrod drilling.Stock had small chip in toe repaired and was completely refinished. New horn butt plate, bushed strikers, forcing cones lengthened, chokes opened to skeet I and skeet II, St. Hubert medallion in grip cap, pop up rear sight, German claw mounts with set of low rings with a Leupold FX II 2.5x ultralight mounted, barrels were also re blued when claw mounts were installed, set trigger for rifle. Shotgun chambers are 65 cm, barrel length 23" and gun with scope weighs around 7.5 lbs. Rifle barrel has strong rifling with no pitting. First two pictures were taken after the refinish in October. I can send more pictures if interested. Front sight is not original. The dovetail for the front sight was damaged during a fall and the original front sight fell out and was lost.I had a NECG fiber optic bead front sight fit to the dovetail. Not an all original collector by any means but a nice drilling to carry and use. Very usable drilling in 16x16 x 6.5x57R. I have shot turkeys, woodcock, grouse, and rabbits with it and it is a joy to carry and shoot. Asking $1650 plus $75 shipped to your FFL.
