The gunmaker Hermann Schneider; Zella St Blasii and Zella Mehlis in Thüringen,Germany was listed from 1914–39, but ceased trading at the end of World War Two. This box lox features: an extractor, a Greener crossbolt, scalloped back and cocking indicators. The action is tight and the barrels on face. The top lever is at center. The ribs appear solid.

Caliber Info: 16 Ga. and 8x57mm JR (.318" bullet diameter) stamped 7.8x57 on barrel flats
Chambers: 2 9/16 inch
Metal Condition: Refinished, polished and hot dipped re-blued with some scratches and wear.
Wood Condition: Sanded and refinished, there are some dents and scratches. The sanding has rounded and softened the accent line
Bore Condition: Rifle barrel is in very good condition. The shotgun barrel has small a few light dents that show in the bore and some fine pitting

Triggers: Double triggers, the front trigger is single set trigger
Stock: Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with an accent lined pancake cheek piece
