Excellent 1966 German Heym combination Gun 16GA & 7x65R - C&R
Description:
Description
Here is a beautiful lightweight Alpine combination gun in excellent condition, retailed through Wälti Waffen of Langnau im Emmental, Canton Bern, Switzerland. This is exactly the type of practical, high-quality hunting arm that defined European mountain hunting for generations — light enough to carry all day, versatile enough to handle both feathered and furred game.
Action & Metalwork
Duralumin boxlock receiver with double Kersten crossbolt and extractors. The light alloy receiver keeps overall weight to a trim 6 lbs 3 oz — exceptional for a combination gun of this quality. Fine hunting engraving throughout. Horn trigger guard and horn pistol grip cap add classic European style.
Barrels
24" barrels with engine-turned solid rib and open sights. Suhl-type claw scope bases fitted for easy optics mounting and removal. Bores are mirror-bright and excellent throughout. Chambered for 16GA 2¾" (shotgun barrel) and 7x65R (rifle barrel) — a classic and versatile Alpine pairing.
Stock
Very nice walnut stock with hand-cut Scottish-pattern checkering and recoil pad. The Swiss retailer decal is intact on the buttstock: Wälti Waffen, Langnau im Emmental.
