D2D has completed over 35,000 offerings during the past 22 years of business! We offer you a “GORGEOUS” J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 3000 Deluxe Grade 12x12/30-06 Drilling & Pecar Scope MFD 1964 C&R. This drilling is in excellent condition inside and out including the scope. There are a few use marks on the butt stock behind the sling swivel. The rest of the gun is in excellent “Plus” condition. It is 58 years old and has been sitting for decades in the estate it came from. The scope and mount function as they should with no issues as does the rifle. The bores are excellent with no issues. The rear sight pop up feature works just fine when you engage the rifle barrel switch. The trigger that fires the rifle barrel once engaged is adjustable as well as a “set” trigger and functions as it should. The chokes are full and improved modified, the chambers are 2 ¾”. The trigger guard is "Horn" and in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. Overall this Sauer is all original and in excellent condition. The left shotgun barrel is marked “J. P. SAUER & SOHN GEGR., 1751 IN SUHL / MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY / 12/30.06 SPRG.”. The right shotgun barrel is marked “SPEZIAL LAUFSTAHL BOCHUMER VEREIN” and with “BGV” in a circle. The undersides of all three barrels are marked “NITRO PROVED”. The underside of the rifle barrel is marked “64 / Eagle / “30-06 SPRG” in and oval /N - DL / 30-06” - “F2657”. The left shotgun barrel flat is marked with an “Eagle / M” – “D/V” - “12/70/2 ¾” - “Eagle / M” “FULL CHOKE”. The right side is marked with an “Eagle / M” – “D/V” - “12/70/2 ¾” - “Eagle / M” “Kiel (W German Proof) “HALF CHOKE”. The bottom of the lug on the rifle barrel is marked “V”. The flats on the undersides of the barrels are marked “12/70 / 2 ¾”” and with an “Eagle / N” proof. The flat on the bottom of the right barrel is also marked “***” and “HALF CHOKE”. The top surface of the forend iron and the top left edge of the water table are marked “F2657”. The underside of the receiver is marked “ORIGINAL / SAUER” with a picture of a man holding a rifle in the center, and with a circled “SS” logo. The receiver is richly scroll engraved with a game scene of a Stag on the left side and a Fox on the right. The scope is marked “Germany - Pecar – Berlin / 4x81” with a German #4 type reticule. The Sauer 3000 was the first drilling to use a hammer forged rifle barrel and rust proofing between the barrels. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $100.
