HUBERTUS SIDELOCK DRILLING - 16,16, 9X57R
Description: Here is a Vintage Hubertus Sidelock Drilling believed to be made around the early 1900's. Nitro proofed 26 1/2" barrels. Mirror bores, the rifle barrel condition is outstanding - very clean no pitting and very strong rifling. This gun features arcaded fences, double underbite lockup with Greener style third fastener and cartridge holder in stock. Greener style side safety. Front trigger has set screw to adjust trigger pull. Typical drilling setup for rifle barrel, it is top tang activated with the front sight popping up automatically. A scope can be mounted if you can organize the claws. Gun is tight on face. A test target and 6 cartridges are provided. The target photo shows the load data. Shotgun barrels are in proof at .670 with 8/1000 choke in each barrel (IC). Chambers measure at 2 5/8". Weight of gun is 7 LBS 4 3/8 OZ. LOP is 14 1/4". Shipping is $40.
