Description: The Model 1909 Argentine rifle represents one of the most successful Mauser variants ever produced, manufactured by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) for the Argentine Army. Based on the proven Mauser 1898 action, this rifle was specifically designed for Argentina and chambered in the unique 7.65 Argentine cartridge, which provided excellent ballistic performance and became one of the most accurate military cartridges of its era.
This very good carbine example was manufactured by DWM and retains most matching parts, which is quite desirable for collectors of Argentine Mausers.
