This is one of the extreme rarities of Luger collecting. An all original, matching number 1902 DWM Carbine. This piece retains 90% or better of the original factory blue and wood finish. The serial number 21602 is on the barrel and on the forearm metal. The number 602 is on the stock metal and behind the toggle. All the small parts that are numbered have the number 02. The inside of the left grip has a 2 and the right grip has a capital B. Under the barrel there is a caliber designation, a G over a crown and a small proof. There are proofs on the toggle and left side of the frame. It has a wood base magazine with no rings. The case is wrapped in leather and has steel corners. The holster has been near a fire and singed at the top corner. The balance of the leather is nice and pliable. The gun is pictured in F.G. Tilton’s Lugers Unlimited book. It came out of his collection at some point. A copy of the book is included, and it is signed. A great piece of history! US only – no international sales. Buyer pays $35.00 shipping.
