"Enfield No.1 MKIII Cutaway .303 British caliber rifle. Cutaway No.1 MK III. Work done at Enfield Lock (Northern suburb of London). Work done probably post WWII, possibly Korean War Period. Finish is baked on enamel finish. Red paint in areas where there are cuts to show the cuts. This model is the second model adopted by the British. These were made for armorers training and demonstration purposes. Note: these Cutaways are deactivated by the hole drilled in the barrel and are not fireable.
