"Lee Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifle .303 (R41685) Consignment

"

SN: 57169. Made in 1942 at BSA Shirley with a 25.2-inch barrel that is chambered for the .303 rifle cartridge. Overall condition of the rifle is good with an enamel paint over finish on all metal parts & wood with the dings & dents that one would expect to see on a rifle that experienced vigorous military service. Copper wire has been wound around the rifle in two places to strengthen & reinforce it for use with the Burns' 2.5-inch Discharger Cup (rifle grenade launcher). Comes with an original sling & a 10-round detachable box magazine. Consignment
