British No. 4 Mk. 2 Rifle by Fazakerly
Description: Serial #A9649, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an unissued, 1955 dated rifle that retains practically all of the original black Suncorite finish, and has matching numbers on the bolt, magazine, and underside of the forend. The wood is likewise nearly excellent with hardly any marks or blemishes indicative of use, however there is a small chip at the heel of the butt, and some tarnish on the brass buttplate. The rifle has a period olive green canvas sling fitted, and also comes with an original No. 9 Mk. 1 bayonet, complete with metal scabbard and canvas frog, also in virtually unissued condition. This is a splendid No. 4 rifle and bayonet combo, and would make a stellar addition to any collection.
