BRITISH NO. 5 MK 1 LEE ENFIELD JUNGLE CARBINE SERIAL NUMBER: BH7538. BARREL: 18-1/2". CALIBER: .303 BRITISH. MANUFACTURED: 1946 at the Fazakerly factory. Export marked on the bottom of the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver and bolt. "1" marked on the bolt head. Tonnage markings on the barrel. "110" marked on the top of the butt plate. Correct muzzle break, bayonet lug and scalloped chamber areas. Blade front sight and NO.7 flip up rear ladder. Original black enamel finish. Stock has been arsenal sanded and oiled. Original black rubber butt pad and attached khaki sling. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with light wear. Wood has minor handling marks and scratches. Rubber butt is hardened, but not cracked. Bore is lightly frosted, with strong rifling. Operates normally. Sling has light wear. .303 British
