Description:
SERIAL NUMBER: B118896, BARREL: 25". CALIBER: .303 BRITISH. MANUFACTURED: 1946 Import marked on barrel. Made at the Fazakerly arsenal. Markings on the receiver and socket are faint. Tonnage markings on the barrel. Small export mark on the chamber. Non-matching serials on the receiver, bolt and magazine. "2" marked bolt head. Blade front sight and MK 3 rear ladder sight. Black enamel finish worn to a bright gray finish. Stock has been sanded and oiled. Steel butt plate. Tan canvas sling is attached. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, forming a bright gray patina. Wood is excellent overall. Bore is clean and bright overall, with strong 4 groove rifling. .303 British
