Lithgow 1921 No. 1 Mark III* SMLE Numbers Matching, All Aussie Correct .303 Brit

Description:
We have acquired this rifle in what appears to be an all-original state. All proofmarks found have the "A" seven-pointed star. All numbers found are matching.

The bore is in excellent condition. All metal parts retain therir vintage bluing and not parkerizing. The wood is all-original walnut with matching numbers. No cracks are found. The buttstock has the matching serial number as well as three cartouches including the vintage Lithgow kangaroo.

This Lithgow No. 1 Mark III* was manufactured in 1921. This is a "Between the Wars" rifle, made during a time of low production numbers.

The fact that we have found an Australian Lithgow made in low-production years between the wars with all Australian proofs and matching numbers makes this highly collectible. Adding that this rifle is in excellent condition makes this a coveted firearm for any Enfield collection.

This rifle includes includes a cleaning kit (Australian proofmarks there as well) and an Enfield sling.

• US shipping only. If your item comes with a scope, we will detach it, package it separately, then include it in the shipped box unless specified otherwise by the purchaser. 
• Postage Costs include adult 21 yr old signature required fee to your FFL 01 or 03. 
• We will pay the shipping insurance for the amount sold.
• Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee.
• Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
