Long Branch ~ No.4 MK I ~ .303 British
Description: Long Branch No.4 Mk I's are considered rare due to the fact that out of the 900,000+ No.4's made by LB only about 14,000 are Mk I's. Long Branch had a hard time initially making barrels thus slowing production. About 3,000 of the first rifles were shipped to Australia, some went to New Zealand and of course some to the UK. Following WW2, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) adopted the No 4 Mark 1 Lee Enfield as the new service rifle. These Enfields were manufactured at Long Branch (Ontario, Canada). This example is stamped "England" which is probably where it was initially sent to. It comes with one magazine. Finish is good showing typical wear. .303 British Curio/Relic: Yes Metal Condition: good Wood Condition: good Barrels: 25" barrel Stock Dimensions: 13.5 Fore End: smooth wood Butt Pad: metal Weight: 8 lb - 14 oz Sights: factory sights Item Location: La Vista, NE Price: $899.99 Contact Seller |
