Description: A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE FAMOUS WW I ENFIELD RIFLE CONVERTED TO .30-06.
This rifle was our major infantry weapon all during, W.W I.
This beauty has retained at least 98+% of the origonal parkerized finish .
The bolt ball does show some very slight use=[There are no rust spots, scratches or rub marks. The feed ramp and bolt face show minmal use and the bore is lightly frosted with sharp rifling.
The barrel is dated 6-18 and has the U.S Oridnace Bomb.
The stock and forearm have not beern relacquered and also show minmal use.
The left side has the original Arsenal Cartouche.
ThIs Enfield design was considered by many to be our most accurate rifle in the war.
It centainly would be a fine addition to any collection and real fun at the range.
