#00894, ZBROJOVKA BRNO - Czechoslovakia: A 222 Remington Model ZKK-601 Brno Mauser on Their Double Square Bridge Short Action Version Mauser action with dovetail flats to accommodate quick release scope mounts with their pop-up peep sight in the rear receiver bridge, Made in 1966, Control round feed claw extractor, These neat actions have a third smaller safety lug underneath the bolt handle which acts as a backup, This provides further safety when the bolt is closed, 23 1/2" barrel, Integral rear sight base with 1 fold up sight, Band front ramp with their spring actuated quick-change front sight, Barrel band sling eye, A very good trigger, It comes with the set trigger that can be installed, Safety to the right of the bolt sleeve, Hinged straddled floorplate with a frontal button release, 13 1/2" LOP over the factory buttplate with their logo, 6 lbs. 12 oz., The original blue on all metal remains at 97%, The stock with original finish remains at 92%, The checkering at 99%. The bore is as new. This neat Brno Mauser double square bridge rifle is worth the action alone. These Model 601's are a lot of Mauser Action for the money.
