Description: Gary Goudy & Herman Waldron --- Custom Remington Model 30-S Express --- .416 Rigby 24" tapered round barrel with matted full-band front sight, barrel-band swivel base, and matted quarter rib with one standing and three folding gold-lined express sights engraved for 100, 200, 250 & 300 yards. Fully figured walnut stock with widow's-peaked ebony forend tip, classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders and ribbon details, double recoil crossbolts, skeleton pistol grip cap (checkered within), classic comb, beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted rear swivel base and solid black Decelerator recoil pad. Metalwork by Herman Waldron: Remington Model 30-S Express magnum-length, controlled-feed action (a refined version of the 1917 Enfield), cocking on opening, with Model 70-type 3-position safety, Mauser 98-type bolt stop, straight-down bolt with 2-panel checkered pear-shaped bolt knob, hinged drop-box magazine floorplate with release inside triggerguard, and engraved action screws.
