Pre-ban FN FAL .308 semiautomatic match rifle as imported by Steyr-Daimier-Puch of America Corporation in the 1980s with 22.75" barrel (measured over the 12-port flash suppressor), vertically adjustable front sight with protective ears and sliding peep rear sight graduated 2-6. Gas port system as originally designed for the SAFN 49. Fitted with rotatable carry handle, charger on left side of receiver, the latter marked ".308 MATCH". Rotatable safety with adjacent disassembly lever. Right side of receiver with three-line manufacturer address reflecting FN name, location (Belgium), and importation by Steyr of New Jersey, followed by the full SN: "2502196". Plastic/phenolic furniture, the 2-piece handguard with three oval ventilation ports on each side and four circular ports at bottom; smooth vertical pistol grip; fixed buttstock with rotatable lanyard ring and cushioned buttplate. Complete with four 20-shot factory magazines, gas port adjustment tool, an unmarked aftermarket Picatinny rail that secures to receiver via five allen head screws, and a well padded camo-colored tactical case with side pocket for spare magazines/accessories and a shoulder strap. EXC factory original, baked on enamel finish, with wear largely limited to the head of the gas adjustment port. Comparable condition plastic furniture with just the most minute handling marks. Magazines VG-EXC. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC picatinny rail and tactical case.
