Standard configuration FN FNC semi-automatic rifle, a scaled down & refined variant of the famous FN FAL, that utilizes a 2 position gas system w/ an integral grenade launcher front sight that, upon deployment, functions as a gas shutoff valve, produced from 1979 to 1987, caliber .223/5.56, SN: FN034022, with 19" barrel measured over multi-port muzzle brake. Vertically adjustable front sight post and dual aperture rear peep sight with protective ears. Ventilated handguard. Ingenious spring loaded dust cover on right side remains under constant pressure, momentarily lifting during the firing cycle, to immediately be closed again upon firing. Left side of receiver marked with FN logo, "F.N.C. 5.56", serial number "FN 034022", "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL", "GUN SOUTH INC. TRUSSVILLE ALA.", and "CAL 223 REM. SPORTER", with safety marked "S" (safe) and "1" (semi). Smooth black pistol grip, right-side folding tubular stock, and black tactical canvas sling. 30 round capacity magazine with ribbed sides and removable floorplate, interchangeable with standard AR-15 magazines.
