Scarce Pre-Ban Fabrique Nationale Herstal commercial FN FAL chambered in .308 Win./7.62 NATO. This model 50.00 ( Light Automatic Rifle Competition) was produced 1981-1983, and featured a match flash hider, 21" barrel, synthetic furniture, and aperture rear sight adjustablefrom 100-600 meters. This type III rifle was imported by Steyr Arms, Secaucus New Jersey. Less than 2000 FAL's were imported by Steyr and these rifles feature the desirable sear cut as can be seen in the last pic.
