Colt 1874 Camel Gatling gun in .45-70 caliber. Original Gatling gun mounted on a later tripod. These guns only have 18” barrels and are a lot more manageable than most other Gatling’s. Many of these were sold to foreign countries and there were mounts made to fire off a camel hence the nickname. Brass has a nice smooth mustard patina. The barrels are sleeved and do have some pitting on the outside. Very nice attractive gun that has been built to shoot. This gun is very manageable and could fit in almost any room. The tripod and gun take up 40” wide and 48” long and 66” high. The gun itself is 36” long. Very neat piece and a reasonable size!
